For more than 50 years Teachers Mutual Bank Limited (formerly Teachers Credit Union) has provided key financial services for those in the education sector. In 2015 Teachers Mutual Bank merged with University Credit Society Limited, in 2016 it merged with Fire Brigades Employees Credit Union Limited, and in 2019 it launched Health Professionals Bank. Today, the Bank has four divisions that provide to people working in key sectors essential to our society - education, emergency services, and health.
As a mutual bank, Teachers Mutual Bank Limited puts members first. We operate on a ‘one member, one share’ model and reinvest profits back into our business to improve the services we offer to our members.
