Built on purpose. Growing for good.

Our bank was founded by volunteers who had a simple idea: teachers deserved a fairer way to bank.

Sixty years on from our early days in a tennis shed in Hornsby, Teachers Mutual Bank Limited has grown into one of Australia’s largest mutual banks, supporting members working across a range of industries including education, healthcare, emergency services, transport and government.

Through our portfolio of brands, we continue to help our members improve their financial wellbeing while having a positive impact on our communities and professions. It’s what we call banking for good.
