Certified responsible mortgages and deposits

Every deposit account opened by and every mortgage sold by a Teachers Mutual Bank Limited brand is a Certified Responsible Investment.

  • Enabling customers to access responsible investments

    • Every deposit and mortgage product sold is a Certified Responsible Investment by RIAA 
    • Any wholesale investor in the Bank is guaranteed their investment is a Certified Responsible Investment. This covers existing holders of the Bank’s wholesale term debt issued under the Bank’s debt issuance program, and new investments in the Banks’ wholesale short term deposits (i.e. cash, negotiable certificates of deposit and term deposits).
    • Every single retail mortgage, deposit product and wholesale product sold by the Bank is Certified, combined these are 98% of all products sold. 

    Market results to FY2023 

    As of 30th June 2023, the cumulative total of all wholesale and retail assets and liabilities on the balance sheet that are RIAA Certified products is $12.3 billion.
