As Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for Teachers Mutual Bank Limited, Nichole is responsible for defining and delivering the bank’s integrated marketing strategy, member growth and experience across our portfolio of divisions.
James Walker

James joined Teachers Mutual Bank in 2024 and brings deep risk management, governance, and banking experience to the role.
For the past 20 years he has led large first and second line of defence teams within major banks in Australia. He has a proven track record in driving regulatory compliance, implementing risk frameworks, uplifting performance and enhancing risk culture. James has sound experience navigating complex regulatory environments and delivering risk transformation programs.
As Chief Risk Officer, James is responsible for Teachers Mutual Bank Limited’s Risk, Compliance and Remediation functions.

Her approach to HR emphasises its role as a strategic partner, dedicated to empowering and supporting leaders at all levels to manage their teams effectively and drive organisational outcomes.
As the Chief People and Culture Officer at Teachers Mutual Bank Limited, Vicki is accountable with shaping and implementing the People Strategy. She collaborates with the Executive team to cultivate a high-performance, values-driven organisational culture, ensuring that exceptional customer experiences are achieved through an outstanding staff experience.

Erica Pickford joined Teachers Mutual Bank in June 2021, bringing over 25 years of extensive experience in Operations. Her career spans the banking sectors of South Africa, the UK, and Australia, where she has held senior leadership roles across Operations, Risk Management, and Insurance. Erica is deeply committed to developing high-performing teams and driving efficiencies that enhance both member and employee experiences. Her dedication to putting members first aligns with our organisational strategy and consistently delivers strong business outcomes.
As the Chief Operations Officer at Teachers Mutual Bank Limited, Erica is responsible for overseeing the Bank’s Credit Origination teams, Settlements, Payments, National Contact Centre, Financial Control which including financial hardship management and the Operations delivery teams.

As Chief Legal Officer, Jenny has accountability for the Bank’s corporate governance, company secretarial, and legal functions.
Michael Bencsik

Michael joined Teachers Mutual Bank Limited in July 2024. Michael has over 30 years’ experience in financial services both domestically and overseas. He has held various executive CFO and strategy roles at major Australian banks, foreign-owned banks, and ASX listed financial services organisations. Michael is also an experienced not-for-profit director with special responsibilities as Chair of the Audit Committee.
As Chief Financial Officer, Michael has responsibility for finance, financial performance, treasury management, internal audit, enterprise portfolio office organisation change management, and is the public officer for taxation. Michael is passionate about driving organisational change in formulating strategies that leverage financial data to enhance operational efficiency and profitability. With a strong technical and commercial focus, Michael is committed to both innovation and excellence in driving growth to deliver superior outcomes that benefit all members.
Greg Johnson

Greg is a highly experienced executive, with more than 25 years’ experience across the banking, wealth, and insurance sectors, having worked in major banks, non-bank lenders, and digital start-ups. Previously, Greg has held executive roles with Bravura, Nano, and Challenger where he was responsible for the design and execution of strategic growth programs, product strategy, product management, marketing strategy, and development of a leading digital platform for mortgages.
As Chief Customer Officer, Greg is responsible for strategy, product, data, analytics and insights, customer care, and digital channels (Mobile App and Internet Banking).
Dan Chesterman

Dan is an experienced and dynamic technology leader, with more than three decades of technology and transformation experience primarily in financial services and consulting. Previously, Dan led the Technology and Data functions at organisations including the Australian Securities Exchange and CommSec as well as providing technology and strategic advisory services to a range of businesses ranging from large corporates to start-ups.
As Chief Information Officer, Dan is responsible for all aspects of information technology, in addition to cyber security, vendor management and the bank’s technology transformation program.
