Teachers Mutual Bank’s member-first focus recognised in Customer-Owned Institution of the Year Money magazine award
Teachers Mutual Bank has been named Customer-Owned Institution of the Year in Money magazine’s Consumer Finance Awards for 2025.
Recognising the top-performing providers that help Australians save, invest and manage their finances, the annual Money Magazine Consumer Finance Awards celebrate Australia's leading banks, insurers and financial institutions.
Award winners are determined through a Money Magazine reader survey* and Teachers Mutual Bank achieved the highest overall composite rating scores across products and features, customer service and digital experience within the Customer-Owned Institution category.

In addition to being named Customer-Owned Institution of the Year, Teachers Mutual Bank came in second in the Bank of the Year - Customer Service category of Money magazine’s 2025 Consumer Finance Awards.
This latest award adds to Teachers Mutual Bank’s growing list of accolades celebrating product and service excellence. Teachers Mutual Bank was named the top bank in Australia for the most satisfied main financial institution customers in 2024 and 2022 in the Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Consumer Banking Report.
