Third party verification for our net zero and carbon neutral statements

Verification was provided by Point Advisory- a sustainable consultancy and registered B Corp. Teachers Mutual Bank Limited (the Bank) and its subsidiary entities is:
- Net zero for all direct greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1 and 2 - electricity, natural gas and vehicle fuel).
- Carbon neutral for all direct greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1 and 2 - electricity, natural gas and vehicle fuel).
- Renewables: The bank generates around 20% of its electricity consumption from onsite rooftop solar PV. 100% of the Bank’s electricity, natural gas and vehicle fuel emissions are offset by purchasing and surrendering Verified Carbon Units (VCUs) created by solar power projects in India.
